A few thoughts:

— Two ’70s collections are floating out there, as well, but details are scarce. Thor Epic Collection: Ulik Unchained, by Gerry Conway, John Buscema and co. is expected by the end of 2021 and Conan Original Marvel Years Epic Collection: Of Once and Future Kings, by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, is expected in the spring. The Conan cover has been released (above).

— I expect we’ll see even more Epic Collections next spring. These are just the ones uncovered so far.

— The Epic Collection I still want more than any other would cover Amazing Spider-Man in the early/mid-’70s — the aftermath of Gwen Stacy’s death and Harry Osborn’s rise as the second Green Goblin. I can’t believe that one hasn’t come out yet.

— Marvel is leaning hard on Thor and Moon Knight Epic Collections these days. Movies and TV shows, kids! Movies and TV shows!

Standard caveat: These have not been solicited by Marvel yet, so nothing is official until it’s official. Even then, things can change. Just keep coming to 13th Dimension for updates.

  1. I’m still hoping for a Thunderstrike Epic Collection. That was one heck of a great title, even if short lived. Rom would be another Epic series that needs to come out, but rights issues need to be ironed out first. And STILL waiting on Spider Man Epic Collection Vol 16 and the early 80’s Incredible Hulk collections.

  2. Looks like Erik and I have almost the same want list.

Thunderstrike (Epic collection or Complete collection, I care not which!) Give me Thunderstrike…because the world still needs heroes!!

Bill Mantlo’s early issues of Incredible Hulk are way overdue. I doubt we’ll see Rom or Micronauts in our lifetime, and don’t even think about The Human Fly!

The end of the Defalco & Frenz run on Amazing Spider-Man and the whole of Stern & Romita, Jr. is also a long time coming in Epic collections.

I am eagerly buying all the Original Marvel Years volumes of Conan the Barbarian. But why are they coming out so slowly. Pick up the pace, By Crom!

And I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll be getting THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF INDIANA JONES OMNIBUS just in time for the new movie next year!
