Marvel’s got a whole bunch of Facsimile Editions coming in May, with the latest 1980s Amazing Spider-Man and Secret Wars reprints, a new edition of the New Mutants #98 Facsimile Edition — and an outright classic: 1981’s The Avengers Annual #10, starring just about everyone and including the introduction of Rogue.

A few thoughts:

— Exact publication dates have not yet been released.

— The New Mutants #98 again? Makes sense. Deadpool & Wolverine is coming in July. The first Facsimile Edition came out in 2019 — and an unslabbed, high-grade copy recently sold on eBay for a startling $78. (That’s a lot more than typical, however. You can usually land them for a lot less.) Meanwhile, an unslabbed, high-grade original, complete with Mark Jewelers insert, recently went for $1,025.

— Other Obligatory Price Comparisons: A high-grade, unslabbed original Avengers Annual #10 recently sold on eBay for about $200; a mid-grade, unslabbed Secret Wars #5 went for about $19, but with hefty shipping fees; a nice, unslabbed copy of Amazing Spider-Man #256 (with Mark Jewelers insert) went for about $75. (Though, again, that’s atypical. Usually, they’re in the $20-30 range.)
