BURT WARD’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony Set for January

Burt Ward — the greatest screen Robin of them all — will have his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Jan. 9, 2020, it was announced Wednesday.

“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Burt Ward, who played Robin on the Batman television series, will be honored with the 2,683rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, January 9, 2020. The star will be dedicated in the category of Television at 6764 Hollywood Boulevard in front of The Guinness World of Records Museum,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement.

“Burt Ward and his character Robin have been cult heroes for many years, to fans of all ages. We are thrilled to honor Burt with his star and happy to have been able to place Ward’s star next to the star of television’s Batman, Adam West and one the creators of the Batman character Bob Kane. We welcome him to our Walk of Fame family, and I cannot wait to say ‘Holy Walk of Fame star, Burt!’ when he arrives to dedicate his star
that day,” she added.

The ceremony will feature the 1966 Batmobile and Batman ’66 characters, such as Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman and the Riddler. It’s scheduled for 11:30 a.m. PT and will be live-streamed at www.walkoffame.com.

    • Congratulations Burt Wàrd,(Dick Grason/ Robin the Boy Wonder) I am In Texas ,I wished I could go to be there for you Burt ,But I was there for you every Wednesday and Thursday Evening back in the 60s but I had to have all my Farm Chores done before I could watch Batman In Color wow ,I have the Batman Complete DVD Set plus the Batman Movie..

  2. Congratulations Burt Ward,(Dick Grason,Robin the Boy Wonder) WOW I watched Batman every Wednesday night and every Thursday Night after I did my Farm Chores before I could Watching Batman in the 1960s, I also have The Complete Batman Sieres on DVD Plus the Batman Movie , I Turn 62 in 8 days.
