BURT WARD Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

HOLY HOLLYWOOD! A deserving honor for the greatest Boy Wonder…

Burt Ward, who will forever be Robin in the hearts of Batman ‘66 fans, will be honored in 2020 with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, his publicist announced Thursday.

“I am incredibly honored to receive this fantastic award as part of television history,” Ward said in a statement. “My sincerest thanks to everyone who contributed to this great honor and to the millions of Batfans worldwide who have loved the Caped Crusaders. Thank you!”

The late Adam West, of course, received his star years ago, so this is an overdue honor for the junior  member of the Dynamic Duo.

It’s not clear where the star will be placed but Ward says he’s hoping it’ll be next to West’s. (Bob Kane’s is right there too so I imagine it’s a pretty good bet.)

The date of the ceremony has not yet been announced but we’ll be sure to send up the Batsignal as more details become available.
