Beloved JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #200 to Be Re-Released As a Facsimile Edition

EXCLUSIVE!

There are many Facsmile Editions that DC fans clamor for, but among the most popular is 1981’s Justice League of America #200.

Just goes to show that good things come to those who wait, because DC this year will be re-releasing the beloved issue, with its compelling Gerry Conway story, and its spectacular art by an all-star line-up featuring some of the very best illustrators the biz has ever seen.

Simply put, Justice League of America #200 is commonly seen as the pinnacle not just of the Satellite Era, but of the entire original series itself.

(The artists include, among others, George Perez, Jim Aparo, Terry Austin, Brian Bolland, Brett Breeding, Pat Broderick, Frank Giacoia, Dick Giordano, Carmine Infantino, Gil Kane, and Joe Kubert.)

The book hasn’t been solicited yet, but is listed on the back cover of the just-solicited Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #4 Facsimile Edition Super Powers variant. (The ish will feature a Black Canary Super Powers cover. You can see the rest of the nine faux figures who’ll be getting such variants here and you can get a taste of their related Facsimile Editions here.)

Much more to come on this one, including pricing, sale date and info on foil and sketch covers. Just keep an eye out here at 13th Dimension.

      • Agreed. This issue is screaming to be a treasury.

    • ABSOLUTELY!! Dying to see some early 80s Perez in treasury size! It’s a no brainer, plus technically, if the format wasn’t discontinued we would have seen it. Also, NTT and my personal fave the JLA/JSA SSSV team up. Bliss

  2. My favorite comic of all time! I probably own 10 of these, and I will still buy this! Treasury would be phenomenal!

  3. What the? I just rebagged and boarded this comic the other day (I think it still had a polyethelene bag from the 80s). Hey, I’ll buy this again.

I’m not so much a fan of treasuries, unless it was one I had the original. Too big to fit in a box and too expensive.

      • I used to have Batman 200. Got it from some rummage sale when I was in elementary school. Long gone 🙁 .
