The greatest Catwoman of them all? It’s not even a debate — it’s Julie Newmar!
At the age of 93, Julie is as beautiful — inside and out — as ever, a woman of grace and great humor.
If we’re gonna celebrate BATMAN ’66 WEEK, we gotta give Ms. Newmar her own spotlight, and Des Taylor is up to the task.

DES TAYLOR is the man behind creator-owned comic properties Scarlett Couture, The Vesha Valentine Story, The Trouble With Katie Rogers and a new property in the works The Blue Lotus Strikes. His client list includes DC Comics, La Perla, FHM, Cosmopolitan, Universal Music, ITV Studios America and many more. When he’s not working on his own properties or churning out commissions, Des spends his spare time… working some more, hating Arsenal and raising his two baby daughters, Scarlett and Leia-May.

RE: Julie Newmar’s Catwoman is a Work of Art.
For sure! But just one image of her by that wonderful delineator of feminine beauty, Mr. Taylor? And with her somewhat scrunched up in a chair, if still a delight to behold? Yet our archetype of feline femininity is felicitously statuesque (with Ms. Newmar at 5′ 11″) so I’m looking forward to the day when Mr. Taylor can showcase our work of art in all of her classicizing proportional perfection.
