To salute the birthday of Frank Frazetta, here are 13 of his often unseen movie-poster illustrations. His entry in this field came about when an art director at United Artists saw his painted portrait of Ringo Starr on the back cover of Mad Magazine #90 (October 1964, EC) and hired him to do the poster work for the film “What’s New Pussycat?”
