13 GOLDEN AGE COVERS: A WILLIAM MOULTON MARSTON Birthday Salute

Wonder Woman’s creator was born 130 years ago!

William Moulton Marston (aka Charles Moulton) was born 130 years ago on May 9, 1893. 1893!

Marston died in 1947, so while he was able to see the Amazing Amazon become a success, he never got to see her become an international symbol of feminism.

For this year’s 13 COVERS salute, I’ve curated a gallery of covers that were published during his lifetime (even if he didn’t write all of them). I did the same last year, but kept it to the flagship Wonder Woman series. This year, it’s Sensation Comics.

Suffering Sappho!
