13 GOLDEN AGE COVERS: A WILLIAM MOULTON MARSTON Birthday Salute

Wonder Woman’s creator was born 129 years ago!

William Moulton Marston (aka Charles Moulton) was born 129 years ago on May 9, 1893. That’s right, Wonder Woman’s creator was born in the 19th century. Mind-blower, eh?

Marston died in 1947, so while he was able to see the Amazing Amazon become a success, he never got to see her become a global phenomenon. Another, mind-blower, eh?

Anyway, for this year’s 13 COVERS salute, I’ve curated a gallery of covers that were published during his lifetime (even if he didn’t write all of them). For kicks, I’ve kept it to the flagship Wonder Woman series.

Great Hera, they’re all by H.G. Peter!
