13 DETECTIVE COMICS COVERS for Batman Day 2015

Oh, hell, I just couldn’t help myself …

Really, I do find this whole Batman Day thing to be a bunch of hooey. I mean, hardly does a day go by where I don’t write about Batman.

But, y’know, it’s in the zeitgeist.

Earlier today, I posted 13 COVERS of the Batman flagship title. So, I’m following it up with 13 COVERS for Batman Day: The Detective Comics Edition.

How did I pick them?

— Detective only.

— I have to own it.

— A lot of these are ones you don’t see all the time but I dig them for a variety of reasons.

— I cut it off in the ’80s, just before the start of the Modern Age.

— For comparison purposes, this is what I posted last year.
