There are more than a thousand comics. Why choose two from that godawful Legion of Superheroes disaster? There are so many others with better shots of Shatner on the cover, and no superheroes.

My choice of covers is not a judgment on the comics themselves. But both are by terrific artists. Besides, taste is subjective.
