The other day I posted 13 COVERS that spotlighted the original Marvel run on Star Wars, like Issue #1 above (click here for all the fun). Today? The latest Marvel run gets its due. Between the main title and its several spinoffs like Darth Vader and Lando, there have been plenty of issues out this year. OK, fine. But there’s been a Jawa transport-full of variant covers, so there’s a veritable ton of extra choices, which makes selecting just 13 COVERS a real challenge.
So here, goes. Here are 13 of my favorites. Give me a kiss. For luck.
(My standard caveat: This is a subjective list and not a ranking of any kind. This is pretty much what I dig and you may feel very differently.
