13 COVERS: Celebrating THE THING’s Team-Ups

Marvel Two-in-One, indeed: Ben Grimm’s getting married!

The ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing was once so popular he had his own team-up book — Marvel Two-in-One, a Bronze Age staple.

But if you’re here, you almost certainly knew that already.

Anyway, Mr. Grimm, of the Lower East Side Grimms, is getting hitched to Alicia Masters today after a mere 56 years of courtship, in Fantastic Four #5 (aka FF #650).

Since that’s the ultimate Thing team-up, we figured it was only fitting to raise a glass, call out a hearty “L’Chaim!” — and present you these 13 COVERS of previous pairings starring the man we will now call Ben Groom:

  1. I loved the Project Pegasus saga and the WWII time-travel epic that spanned the 1975(?) Annuals of Fantastic Four and Marvel Two-
    in-One.
