The Man-Thing cometh…

Mike Ploog — born July 13, 1940 (or ’42, depending on your source) — was one of the biggest breakthrough horror artists of the ’70s, best known for his work on Marvel’s Man-Thing, Ghost Rider, The Monster of Frankenstein and Werewolf by Night.

This year, for our 13 COVERS birthday salute, we’re spotlighting Man-Thing — because why not? Problem is, Ploog didn’t do 13 Man-Thing covers. Solution? Make it 13 COVERS AND SPLASH PAGES.
