Alex Ross was born 52 years ago, on Jan. 22, 1970. He requires no introduction, so let’s get right to the 13 COVERS birthday salute.

Ross has been making a lot of Marvel news lately — especially with his forthcoming Fantastic Four graphic novel — so I’ve decided to flip the script and focus on Superman, DC’s flagship character. Just for kicks, y’know?
