  1. John Buscema has always been in my top 10 or even top 5 of my favorite comic artists. He’s the perfect artist if you like a high amount of realism with that wonderful addition of comic book superhero style. One of the most famous images of his for me is that picture of the Vision in Avengers # 58 where we discover that “even an android can cry”.

  3. Iā€™m reasonably sure Annual #6 is Sal Buscema.

    • You are correct Raymond. I found this on Amazon’s page for it.

“The Mighty Thor King-Size Annual, No. 6 Comics ā€“ December 1, 1977 by Len Wein (Author), Roger Stern (Author), Sal Buscema (Illustrator), Klaus Janson (Illustrator), Glynis Wein (Colorist), John Buscema (Illustrator), Joe Sinnott (Illustrator)”

And on the 1st inside page of Annual #6 that I Googled an image of showed Sal as the artist.

      • According to the Grand Comics Database, our go-to source, it was John on the cover, Sal on the interiors.

        • It definitely looks more like John than Sal on the cover. I’ll have to add the GCD to my bookmarks because Google didn’t show their site in the first several posts since Amazon is more interested than selling than informing.
