(UPDATED: CONTEST CLOSED) FREE tickets! Sit in the BATMOBILE! PRIZES aplenty! Enter the contest we’re running in conjunction with East Coast Comicon and The Batcave Podcast!
As you may or may not be aware, our sister operation is the East Coast Comicon. Both of us are under the Crucial Entertainment umbrella of awesome and we actively help out with programming, promotions, etc.
Anyway, here’s what’s what: The East Coast Comicon is April 11-12 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in N.J. — just across from NYC and accessible from the entire Northeast of the U.S. of A.
Tickets are inexpensive and it’s an event that’s great for families. And we’ve got fantastic guests like Neal Adams, Jim Steranko, Arthur Adams, Ann Nocenti, Simon Bisley and many, many others.
Oh, and the 1966 Batmobile will be there.
And now, YOU can win tickets to the show and sit in the Batmobile — and win one of the great prize packages below!
(PLUS! In case you missed it, check out our PLANET OF THE APES CONTEST!)

Here’s what you can win:
Each of five (5) winners receives two (2) tickets to the show, gets to sit in Jeff Breden’s Batmobile* — most recently featured on Comic Book Men with none other than Adam West himself — as well as a Batmobile T-shirt, and a caricature of you in the Batmobile by artist Howard Bender!
BUT. THAT’S. NOT. ALL!
Each winner will come away with one (1) of the following prize packages:
— The TO THE BATMOBILE! Package: One Mattel Batmobile, with 6-inch scale Batman figure that can ride in it!

And since this is a Batmobile contest, you get FOUR bendable key rings — Batman, Robin, the Batmobile and a Batlogo! For your fleet of Batvehicles! All from the fantastic folks at NJ Croce!

Now, here’s how it works:
Step 1: Answer this question: Who is credited with designing the 1966 Batmobile?
Step 2: Email the answer to The13thD@gmail.com.
Step 3: One winner for each prize set will be selected at random from those who send in a correct answer. You can only win once and you cannot pick your prize set. Again, it will be selected at random.
Step 4: We will announce the winners on an upcoming special episode of The Batcave Podcast about the Batmobile on 3/30! The winners will also be announced on Twitter, so follow us @13th_Dimension and @BatcavePodcast – because the winner could be you!
The Fine Print: One entry per person. Judges’ decision final. Entries must be received by 11 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 22. While free tickets will be arranged in advance of the show, the rest of the prizes must be picked up in person. They will NOT be shipped out.
UPDATED: The Fine Print, Part 2: You may enter both this contest and our PLANET OF THE APES CONTEST. However, if you win one of the contests, you cannot win the other. Again, the winners will be chosen at random from those who answer the trivia questions correctly.
GOOD LUCK, CITIZENS!

*In the interest of full disclosure, this is not one of the originals from the show. It’s custom built. But it IS amazing. I’ve ridden in it. Twice. And many a celebrity, including West, Ward and a litany of others have sat in it as well. It’s as close as you’ll get to sitting in one of the originals — and if you want to book it for an event, contact Jeff Breden at jrbreden@gmail.com.
** Each of these is the official 13th Dimension review sample. They have only been opened for review purposes and are pristine.
