An artist whose work remains beloved to this very day.
Norm Breyfogle is an artist who inspires a level of loyalty and admiration enjoyed by only a limited number of Batman artists, particularly after the Bronze Age.
He’s one of the first artists I interviewed for the prehistoric 13th Dimension (you check that out here) and I’m glad for the chance.
So with his birthday upon us — he was born Feb. 27, 1960 — here’s a 13 COVERS salute!
(My standard caveat: This is a subjective list and not a ranking of any kind. This is pretty much what I dig and you may feel very differently. So, rather than beef about a cover you don’t see, instead join in the fun and share your own choices in the comments section or in whatever social-media thread you saw this.)

Perhaps my personal favorite.

Or maybe it’s this one.

Why does that Joker remind me of Mick Jagger?

These covers are what? 20 years old? I bought them all new, and I remember every single one. That tells you something about the artist.
