Alex Ross’ massive Marvel mural is one of the standout pieces of comics art of the last few years. So much so that Abrams is releasing it as a calendar for the second year in a row.

A few thoughts:

— Based on the released art, the difference between the 2023 and 2024 editions is the black background. (The 2023 edition was white.) But I’m sure the 10 portraits on the flip side will be different. Shown above is who was in the first edition:

— The calendar is due July 25, 2023, and lists for $24.99.

— I can’t recall a calendar getting this kind of re-release, so Marvel and Abrams must have struck gold.
