You Want More BATWOMAN? Here’s More BATWOMAN!

BATWOMAN AT 70: Artist John K. Snyder joins the fun…

It started last week with MORRISON MONDAYS and Bill Morrison’s birthday tribute to TV Batgirl Yvonne Craig, riffing on Batwoman’s first appearance in May 1956’s Detective Comics #233.

Then, Peter Bosch picked up the baton Friday with BATWOMAN AT 70: An Anniversary Celebration of 1956’s DETECTIVE COMICS #233 — and Beyond. Bill, meanwhile, came back the same day with another take on Detective Comics #233 (both times aided and abetted by Walt Grogan).

You folks seemed to dig all of this, and it caught the fashionable eye of our pal John K. Snyder, who decided to join the fun by posting online his own take on Batwoman (naturally, in Sheldon Moldoff’s style). So I says to John, I says, “Hey, let’s do something with this at 13th Dimension.” And he says, “Sure!” (I’m paraphrasing.)

And here we are — MORE BATWOMAN!

And, as a bonus, John’s homage to Moldoff’s 1961 Batman family portrait:
