Wanna see the Metaluna Mutant? We do!

You know what I wish I could do tonight? Go to Woolworth’s and stare at the gigantic wall of Ben Cooper costumes until I found the one I wanted. (And one that fit — nothing worse than finding your favorite character in a size too small.)

But here’s the thing: You can kinda-sorta vicariously experience that thrill by voting for NECA’s next Ben Cooper action figure character:

As you know, NECA has over the last year introduced a series of 5 1/2-inch, Mego-style action figures based on classic Ben Cooper monster costumes. They’ve been a huge hit and the company has expanded into other licenses such as Alien, Gremlins and Beetlejuice. 

Then there are the forthcoming DC Comics figures — which were the biggest mindblowers coming out of New York Comic Con last week:

But back to the monsters: Now YOU can vote on which character you want to see next — Wolfman, Metaluna Mutant, Clown, Pirate or Ghost.

Click here to register your selection. There’s even a write-in option — though to me, the Metaluna Mutant is a no-brainer. (Or is that a big-brainer?) You have about a week to decide.
