EXCLUSIVE! The 1965 cult favorite will reach the masses in November…

—
IMPORTANT FANCY NOTE: Clear your decks in November, Facsimile Edition fans: DC Comics has added seven such full-on reprints to its fall schedule — six in November, and an early solicitation for one in December. (And yes, there will be plenty more in December, but that news is about a month away.) Not just that, we have some BIG related news coming Friday! Now to keep it all straight, we’ve broken the selection down into multiple parts, because several of these demand solo treatment and exploration. You can find the links to everything at the bottom of this post!

I love it when DC has a laugh with its Facsimile Edition program. Case in point: November’s World’s Finest Comics #153, the 1965 issue that gave the world the infamous “Batman slapping Robin” meme.
Dig the official solicitation info, which will be released formally later this week:

Buncha thoughts:

— I didn’t see this one coming but I applaud the wacky funsters at DC for doing this.
— I imagine the logo sketch cover will be especially popular. Think of the commission possibilities!
— Again, as I noted above, we’ve got plenty of other groovy Facsimile Edition news to report. Links below!
— Obligatory Price Comparison: An unslabbed, VF+ original recently sold on eBay for $136.50. I myself recently considered picking one up, but the price kept me away. Glad I didn’t!
