WONDER WOMAN THE BARBARIAN: Dig KERRY CALLEN’s Homage to 1970’s CONAN #1

What is best in life? Why, SUNDAY FUNNIES With KERRY CALLEN…

Who’s the badassest of them all — Wonder Woman the Amazon Warrior or Conan the Barbarian? Neither, silly: It’s Kerry Callen for combining the two in a fab homage to Barry Windsor-Smith’s 1970 Conan the Barbarian #1 cover.

Check this out, kids:

And dig it next to the original:

Noice!

“I was asked to do a reimagining of Marvel’s Conan the Barbarian #1, using Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor,” sez Kerry. “I REALLY wanted to change the position of Wonder Woman’s sword, for a stronger silhouette shape, but the client wanted her pose to match the original by Barry Windsor-Smith. I understand. It’s very iconic.”
