Moon Knight and Batman have probably crossed paths in some Marvel/DC crossover somewhere. I don’t remember for sure. But I do know there’s never been a standalone comic or series where the two nocturnal avengers have joined forces.

Some fans may think that it would cheapen Batman because Moon Knight was such an obvious ripoff back in the day. Some may think it’s just too obvious.

Uh-uh. It all comes down to petty jealousy and ego — as this brand-new piece by our pal Kerry reveals:

  1. Huh… imagine if Finger and Robinson had sued Kane as they pretty much designed everything about Batman but the name and the idea of bat wing-ish cape, and won. Would they have reworked the character as a proto-Moon Knight?
