What Would DAMIAN WAYNE Make of BATMAN ’66? Here’s Your Answer

Thank you, Bruno Redondo!

Imagine what the modern Batman and Robin would make of the 1966 Adam West show.

Well, imagine no longer, because artist Bruno Redondo has his take for you in this variant cover for August 20’s Detective Comics #1100:

Yup, that’s about right.

The cover is one of eight Redondo is doing for various titles in August, as part of DC’s latest “Artist Spotlight” variant series. He’s one of the best around, winning an Eisner for Best Cover Artist in 2023 for his superb Nightwing run with Tom Taylor. He’s also the artist for July’s Superman Treasury 2025: Hero for All, written by Dan Jurgens.

None of these variants have been formally solicited yet — that’ll be next week — but here’s a SNEAK PEEK:

BIRDS OF PREY #24 — 8/6/25

GREEN ARROW #27 — 8/27/25

GREEN LANTERN #26 — 8/27/25

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED #10 — 8/27/25

SUPERMAN #29 — 8/27/25

THE FLASH #24 — 8/27/25

WONDER WOMAN #24 — 8/20/25

  1. A Justice League cover that DOESN’T have the Trinity front and center?

    Is that even legal?!
