“Here’s a goofy throwback joke,” sez Kerry. “I suspect someone may comment that the current version of Alan Scott, the Green Lantern, is gay. But, if the person requesting this commission has their strongest memories of a character from their childhood, I have no problem giving them that version. (Unless it’s somehow derogatory.) The request included which characters to use. I’m happy to tailor-make it. That’s part of the fun of receiving commissions!”
