SUNDAY FUNNIES WITH KERRY CALLEN!
It’s hard to judge a full-length movie based on 1 minute and 38 seconds of hype — but who cares? Everyone and their Aunt Petunia seems excited by the first Fantastic Four trailer.
Well, in the world’s greatest comics coincidence, our pal Kerry just finished a set of sketch-card commissions featuring none other than… Hellcat!
No, I mean, Shanna the She-Devil! No, wait, I’m talking about Spider-Man… and the Green Goblin… and, and… KING KONG! And Kerry himself!
Oh, and, yeah, the Fantastic Four:
“I recently drew several small characters on 2.5” x 3.5” sketch cards (including a self portrait) as a commission,” sayeth Kerry. “Color was added using watercolors and colored pencils. After the Fantastic Four trailer was released several days ago, I got the urge to spiffy up the FF ones with digital color. So I did!
“I wanted Sue to be holding up something with an invisible arm, but I didn’t know what. A gun didn’t make sense. I finally decided on cookies!” Kerry sez. “She knows it will make Reed take a much needed break from his experiments.”
