Diamond’s bankruptcy has wreaked havoc with the small publisher…
John Morrow, the head of TwoMorrows Publishing, one of the best resources for comics and pop-culture history around, is seeking help from loyal readers given the impact Diamond Comic Distributors’ bankruptcy has had on the small company.
“Diamond Comic Distributors has filed for bankruptcy without paying for our December and January magazines and books, leaving us with enormous losses—and we still have to cover our expenses on those items, and keep producing your favorite publications,” Morrow said in an email to customers this week. “Until payments from our new distributor begin in a few months, we’re staying afloat with webstore sales.”
He outlined five ways you can help, if you’re so inclined. This isn’t charity, it’s about sales to boost the bottom line. We’re huge fans of TwoMorrows here at 13th Dimension, so I urge you to consider the company’s suggestions:
— Order something at www.twomorrows.com! Anything you purchase directly from us—print or digital—will help us stay in business, and avoid disruptions to our upcoming releases. Get our new 2025 catalog here for easy ordering.
— Subscribe or purchase our next few issues! Retailers could miss some items during our switch to Lunar Distribution, and new tariffs may result in price increases. Save by pre-ordering upcoming items from TwoMorrows now, and subscribe or renew your current print or digital subscription.

I sing their praise all the time. I have such a backlog of their magazines still to read and I will eventually. Their writings are a look back in time. I savor each issue. I will be adding something additional today. As fans of the Golden, Silver and Bronze Age of comics, we all need TwoMorrows to be successful now and for many years more to come.

I have several of TwoMorrows books. Going back to at least the Warren Companion. Lately I’ve been enjoying Cryptology Magazine and the American Comic Book Chronicles. I’m looking forward to the First Comics Companion too.

Hey, folks! I switched to ordering directly from TwoMorrows a couple years back. Why?! Because when you order print books directly from them you get the digital download of the same book FREE. That, in itself, is worth the price of admission! go buy books from TwoMorrows! No excuses!

Twomorrows is doing a service to the comics industry and to fandom. I highly recommend The Jack Kirby Collector! But, they also have tons of other great publications!

I highly recommend their books and magazines. If had the time ( and money ) I would get them all. I have all the Alter Ego issues and many books. They are well researched and are great time capsules of information. Try something that interests you and you won’t be disappointed.

I agree with what most is saying in the comments section. I wanted to add that the care and love of the subject matter shines through in each of the magazines and book TwoMorrows puts out, that’s why I love reading them.
