The TOP 13 things at the DC booth…

The DC Collectibles booth is one of my favorite stops at Toy Fair. There’s always an eclectic selection and usually a fair number of items that have me calculating my budget for the months ahead.

This year, the best item far and away is the 7-piece The New Teen Titans statue set, based on George Perez’s artwork. The 6-inch-scale statues are due to be released on a staggered schedule starting late this summer, so you can buy them individually (at $80 a pop) or collect them all and recreate Perez’s classic The New Teen Titans #1 cover. (Click here to read more about it.)

Anyway, in picking my TOP 13 from the booth, the NTT set accounts for several spots because the statues look great as a collection and as individuals. Also included on the list are a number of figures from the upcoming DC Essentials 7-inch action-figure series — including Red Trunks Superman, straight from the pages of Action Comics #1000 (click here). Rounding things out are a couple Watchmen/Doomsday Clock action figures and a few statues, including that insane 1:1-scale Rick Baker Joker bust that’s got everyone going crazy.

Here goes:
