A 13 COVERS 100th birthday salute to one of comics’ all-time greats…
It’s fair to say that Carmine Infantino’s personal Golden Age was the Silver Age, when his impact at DC was immeasurable.
But it’s not like he started with 1956’s Showcase #4. He’d been with many pubishers, including DC, going back to the early ’40s — a period we’ve barely put a spotlight on over the years.
So for this year’s 13 COVERS birthday tribute — Infantino was born 100 years ago, on May 24, 1925 — we’ve decided to go back to those earliest days with DC, in the 1940s and early ’50s.
Swell!

wow this stuff is crazy! as a little kid i knew Infantino mainly from Star Wars comics he did, this is nothing like that era. its amazing how an art style can completely change over time.
