SUPERMAN: THE STRANGER — Dig This SNEAK PEEK at the Miniseries That Takes the Man of Steel Back to the 1930s

A Black Label project that echoes The Bat-Man: First Knight…

DC this week launches a six-issue Black Label miniseries that takes the Man of Steel back to his 1930s rootsSuperman: The Stranger, by Wes Craig and colorist Jason Wordie.

The project doesn’t emulate Golden Age-style storytelling; rather, it puts Superman in a more true-to-life view of the era, not unlike Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins’ terrific The Bat-Man: First Knight (and Second Knight).

Dig this SNEAK PEEK at Issue #1, along with the variant covers:

Dave Johnson variant

Goran Parlov variant

Ethan Young variant
