A Black Label project that echoes The Bat-Man: First Knight…

DC this week launches a six-issue Black Label miniseries that takes the Man of Steel back to his 1930s roots — Superman: The Stranger, by Wes Craig and colorist Jason Wordie.
The project doesn’t emulate Golden Age-style storytelling; rather, it puts Superman in a more true-to-life view of the era, not unlike Dan Jurgens and Mike Perkins’ terrific The Bat-Man: First Knight (and Second Knight).
