A few thoughts:
— DC also released Bryan Hitch’s (unlettered) variant cover for Superman ’78 #2 (above). Looks mighty hot inside the San Andreas Fault. But then it always did.
— Props to DC for their blurbs on the Superman ’78 and Batman ’89 solicitations so far. They tease a bit but give so little that reading the comics will really be a fresh experience — which is exactly what you want. I know that’s a weird compliment to make but there you have it.
