Shades of the days of Kenner…

There’s another nifty calendar headed your way in 2022, beyond the groovy Batman and Marvel Comics offerings we’ve shown off the last couple of days: the 2022 Star Wars Collector’s Edition Calendar.

Best part? The design is based on the classic Kenner toy packaging from a long time ago, in a galaxy right here.

But there’s more: The calendar is actually part of a boxed set that includes two  8″ x 10″ posters — one of Luke Skywalker and one of Boba Fett.

A few thoughts:

— I love that the box has the same art as the Star Wars: Escape From Death Star game.

— The back cover notes that this is “concept only,” so there could be changes before publication.

— The calendar, by Trends International, is due June 21 and lists for $20.99. It’s already available for pre-order. Click here.
