One of the most anticipated books of the year…

The first volume of John Byrne’s long-awaited three-part graphic novel X-Men: Elsewhen is due June 23. Published through Abrams ComicArts under license from Marvel, the hardcover takes a different route from the artist’s seminal Bronze Age run with writer Chris Claremont, with the canonically killed Jean Grey alive and kicking.
“Diverging from the epic finale of the original storyline from 1984, X-Men: Elsewhen presents a universe where Jean Grey’s powers and intellect have been greatly reduced, and from there, everything you thought you know about the X-Men is forever changed,” reads the official description.
