One of my favorite parts of Archie Comics is the fashions. In particular, the women’s fashions. In particular, the women’s fashions through the decades.
It immediately places Betty and Veronica, most obviously, in a specific point in time, and yet there’s also something timeless about the artistry, especially through the pen of the late Dan DeCarlo (whose wife, Josie, used to give him mags and catalogues for ideas).
