Sure, we’re disappointed that the Mighty Marvel Calendar: A Visual History book has been delayed up to a year, but Abrams ComicArts still has two superb retro Marvel publications that will tickle you’re Excelsior bone: the Marvel Value Stamps 2024 Calendar, which is of the page-a-day variety, and the Marvel Classic Black Light Notecard Set.
We’re reviewing both for TOYHEM this year — and you can find the piece on the groovy notecard set over here.
Anyway, the calendar is a spinoff of the book Marvel Value Stamps: A Visual History, which came out earlier in 2023. Each day presents a different stamp, its provenance and in what issues it can be found; others will show the art the stamp actually came from. Still others how off stamp album pages. There are even the puzzle pieces that Marvel used as stamps.
With all that in mind, dig these groovy 13 PAGES FROM THE MARVEL VALUE STAMPS 2024 CALENDAR, in no particular order:

The Marvel Value Stamps 2024 Calendar is published by Abrams ComicArts and Marvel and is available now. It lists for $17.99, with pages that run 5.25″ x 4.375″.
