I bet Murphy Anderson (or editor Julius Schwartz, or writer Gardner Fox) did. Probably all three of them, because everybody saw that movie.

Anyway, we got this classic cover a little more than a year after the 1959 Charlton Heston epic came out:

Anyway, Kerry’s got his own take — featuring all of the Silver Age’s Leaguers — with this recent commission:
