Comics’ greatest villain is a two-time Best Actor honoree
They always say a hero is only as good as his villain — but sometimes I guess you only need the villain.
Joaquin Phoenix on Sunday night won the Best Actor Oscar for Joker — joining The Dark Knight’s Heath Ledger as victor for playing the Clown Prince of Crime.
I’m a big fan of Phoenix’s perfomance and think Joker is as valid an origin story as any. Truly terrifying — which is exactly what you want.
