JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #200 Facsimile Edition Will Be TREASURY-SIZE

EXCLUSIVE! A MAJOR update…

Well, here you go, folks: July’s Justice League of America #200 Facsimile Edition will indeed be treasury-size, with official dimensions measuring 10 1/8″ x 13 5/16”, according to DC Comics.

This is, to put it mildly, spectacular news.

To recap, here’s the solicitation:

JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #200 FACSIMILE EDITION

Black Canary Super Powers cover by JASON GEYER and ALEX SAVIUK ($14.99 US)

ON SALE 7/22/26

In this special anniversary adventure, the seven founding members of the League are pitted against the team’s later additions when a sinister plan put into motion by the Justice League’s very first case at last comes to fruition. An all-star cast of talent brings old and new Leaguers together in this astounding oversize epic!

Buncha thoughts:

— The solicitation makes no mention of dimensions, but the $14.99 tab (and $19.99 for the foil cover) had a lot of general readers, experts like TreasuryCast’s Rob Kelly, and editors like yours truly, speculating that this was a Treasury Edition, since those are the typical price points for such publications. We’ve been able to confirm it with the publisher.

— This marks the first time that a Super Powers variant cover will be released in treasury-size. Big news for Black Canary fans!

— Speaking of our pal Rob, this ish made his 2025 list of 13 NEW DC TREASURY EDITIONS WE WANT TO SEE. He’s not alone. Every time this issue gets mentioned, fans clamor for the treasury treatment.

— Here’s what Rob, who also writes our REEL RETRO CINEMA column, had to say about the ish in that piece: “OK, I admit I’m playing favorites here. JLA #200 is my all-time favorite comic book, ever, but dang is this thing great. Written by the legendary Gerry Conway and drawn by one of the greatest collection of comic book artists ever assembled between two covers, this giant battle between JLA members old and new would be an amazing addition to the treasury line.”

— This is the second time in the Facsimile Edition era that DC has turned a regular-size classic into a Treasury Edition. The first was 2025’s Untold Legend of the Batman. (DC didn’t promote that as such in its solicitations, either.)

  1. JLA 200 as a TREASURY EDITION? I’m in. I’m also in for the next JLA Omnibus around October with JLA 200 in it. FINALLY.

  2. This is great news. Great news. But can we still have it in normal size too? I have to ask.

    • I wouldn’t mind that, especially for the Super Powers Black Canary variant.

    • Unlike a lot of people here, I’m not a fan of treasury, although I did pick up Untold Legends of Batman, but that’s only because I bought them when they came out, but only have #1 left. I still have JLA #200, so I guess I’ll be skipping it this time around.

Funny. Some people on this site have stated that they want facsimiles to be newsprint, to be as close to original as possible. I wonder if the same people eschew upsizing to treasury-size, as well.

      • Count me as a vote for old-school paper and all. I was never a fan of the “new” premium paper even back in the day.

      • I’d buy that too. I’d especially like to see an artist’s edition with as much raw artwork pages that exists.

  3. And here I was feeling bad that we haven’t gotten an ANCE or LCE treasury reprint in months!

      • I am a man of little patience.

Since I hate holes, I’m hoping we get ANCE C-55 for the Legion story, which is the last realistic ANCE facsimile we could get. (I doubt we’re getting any Rudolph reprints!)

Given that we’re in July, it looks like they’re passing an opportunity for LCE C-47, “Superman Salutes the Bicentennial.” Maybe C-32 in October (Ghosts) and C-34 in December (another Christmas with the Super-Heroes)?

  4. This is great news! Now we need Action #500 and JLA #210-212, since they were intended to be treasury stories to begin with.

  5. I love this news but am a little dismayed that the Super Powers action figure cover will not be normal size to go with all the other Super Powers figure variant covers. It may look awkward as a result.

Also, this was a wasted opportunity where it could have been a Super Powers variant that was for a vehicle or playset as it’s treasury sized space this time.

  6. I was hoping DC would grant Treasury Size to other books that deserve it and JLA #200 definitely does. And I second the Action and JLA comics to also go that route. Now I’m hoping for X-Men/Teen Titans and Batman #400.

  7. This is absolutely great news. I was about to back out of getting it (I have multiple originals) for $15…. But at treasury size I will buy at least 2 copies.

Great choice, DC—now do MORE! Especially the X-men Teen Titans crossover!

  8. Given the 76 page count, my question now is: will this be staple bound like the old DC treasuries, or will it be perfect bound like the original JLA #200 (and like the Paul Dini-Alex Ross coffee table books)?

I also hope that DC will not use the same scans as they did for their digital copy of JLA 200…
