Jim Lee is arguably the biggest name in modern comics — an artist with a strikingly devout following and an executive whose impact is felt across the DC Universe every week.

Now, Lee’s DC work is getting the Artifact Edition treatment from IDW, with a remarkable selection of hyper-detailed, high-res scans of original art starring Batman, Superman, the DC Universe in general, and the artist’s own Wildstorm.

The Jim Lee DC Legends Artifact Edition — edited by Scott Dunbier and out 1/2 — pretty much encapsulates the last 25 years of the creator’s career, with Batman: Hush, All-Star Batman and Robin, Superman: For Tomorrow, Action Comics: 80 Years of Superman, Superman: Unchained, Justice League and WildC.A.T.S among the projects represented. (Plus much more, naturally.)
