Continuing the series…

Archie Comics is once again plumbing its vast library and collecting a fan-fave series for folks who rightly dig the company’s considerable legacy: Out May 29 is the second volume of Archie at Riverdale High, the Bronze Age series that showcased the gang’s day-to-day lives at school.

The series, which ran in the ’70s and ’80s, is known for having a somewhat more serious tone than the typical Archie fare of the time. It also featured the work of greats like Dan DeCarlo and Stan Goldberg.

  1. To paraphrase what Archie said to Betty on that first panel of the Book 2 cover…” I hate it when teens take up GROWN UP trends.”
    In other words, I hate it when the morally degenerate people in Hollywood get ahold of things that are or were wholesome from pop culture and turn it into their own R or X rated version of how THEY want to see TEENS act. The CW’s acronym should be Crappy not Wholesome.
