Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton #2, DC. Loved the first issue. Loved it. My cover of choice is this variant by Rafael De Latorre.

—
Batman #655 Facsimile Edition, DC. The first issue of Grant Morrison’s uneven, but often transcendent run on the character. This ish introduced Damian into main Bat-continuity…

—
Batman & Robin: Year One #9, DC. Keep your eyes on the prize, Robin.

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Godzilla: The First 70 Years: The Official Illustrated History of the Japanese Productions, Abrams. I find myself becoming more of a Godzilla fan with every passing year, and this lavishly illustrated hardcover history is a no-brainer.

—
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #41, DC. Bizarro Lois is back!

Dan adds: Among the variants is this Superman movie cover by Kevin Maguire, on which the Man of Steel looks up. Because, y’know, that’s the movie’s tagline and Maguire is known for that particular angle, and oh, never mind…
