HOT PICKS! On Sale This Week!

Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…

Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension

The Brave and the Bold #30 Facsimile Edition, DC. The JLA’s third appearance! With foil and sketch covers, too.

Fantastic Four #1 Facsimile Edition (New Printing), Marvel. OK. Follow me here: Marvel in 2025 is publishing the first 12 issues of Fantastic Four as monthly Facsimile Editions. It’s March and not only is FF #3 out this month, but there’s a new printing of January’s FF #1 too. Plus, there’s a Kirby incentive variant and an Alex Ross variant. Nice.

Batman #612 Facsimile Edition, DC. Hey didja see the news we broke about the 11″ x 17″ Batman #158 issue — the first chapter of Hush 2 — coming March 26? Click here.

Two-Face #4, DC. Dark humor and psychodrama. Cool miniseries.

Shazam! #21, DC. I didn’t last long on this series, but man what a way to go out, with this Javier Pulido variant cover.

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension

Doctor Strange of Asgard #1. I haven’t been following the whole “Doctor Doom as Sorcerer Supreme” thing Marvel has going on right now, but this looks like an intriguing new direction for Doc Strange.

DC Finest: Plastic Man — The Origin of Plastic Man, DC. The original Plastic Man tales by the great Jack Cole, long out of print!

Fantastic Four Epic Collection Vol. 11: Four No More, Marvel. I’ve been enjoying these late ’70s/early ’80s Marvel volumes. Lots of stuff that hasn’t been collected before.

  1. Really looking forward to Titan’s Conan the King Omnibus Vol 2 this week. When that title really kicked into high gear. Was sorry when Marvel lost the license before they could get to these issues. Regarding the comment about the Fantastic Four Epic Collections…weren’t those previously collected in Marvel Masterworks? Epic Collection Vol 11 was reprinted in MMW FF volumes 18 and 19…
