Iron Man #1 Facsimile Edition, Marvel. I’m a Facsimile Edition connoiseur, if there is such a thing, and here is one that I’ve been looking forward to since it was announced. A vital issue by Archie Goodwin and Gene Colan, all-time greats both.

Fury #1, Marvel. A one-shot celebrating the 60th anniversary of Marvel’s greatest soldier/superspy, who debuted in March 1963. Both versions of Fury star in this tale that moves between now, the ’60s and the ’40s. Courtesy of writer Al Ewing and a coterie of artists. I especially dig Chris Samnee’s variant (but that’s no surprise).

Marvel Masterworks: The Avengers Vol. 23, Marvel. Early days here in Roger Stern’s lengthy and landmark run on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – great stuff like Spidey’s first attempt at membership, the Vision’s stint as leader, and the beginnings of the West Coast Avengers!

Storm #1, Marvel. Just the Alan Davis cover alone is enough to get me on board.

Put me down for 4 copies of the Ironman #1 for the “old” spinner rack.
