Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…
—
Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
The Amazing Spider-Man #23, Marvel. Dig the Alex Ross variant! Man, I love Mysterio.
—
Fantastic Four Epic Collection: The Coming of Galactus, Marvel. This is definitely one of the most reprinted sagas in comics history. Heck, this is the third time this Epic Collection has been released alone. But so what? It deserves it.
—
Venom #18, Marvel. Dig the Alex Ross variant! Man, I love the Lizard. Even more than Mysterio.
—
Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Adam Warlock Omnibus, Marvel. Just in time for his MCU debut in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 comes this giant hardcover collection of the complete 1970s Adam Warlock saga!
—
The Avengers: War Across Time #4, Marvel. I’ve been very much enjoying Paul Levitz’s Marvel debut, and you can never go wrong with art from the mighty Alan Davis.
Dan adds: One of the best things I’m reading right now. And Scott’s right — Levitz is bringing it but don’t sleep on Davis, who is at full strength here, including echoes of artists like Jack Kirby and Neal Adams.
—
Immoral X-Men #1, Marvel. This “What If?”-type tale of the X-Men’s future has me intrigued.
Dan adds: Hey, it’s an all-Marvel week!
