Gil Kane’s Amazing Spider-Man Artisan Edition, IDW. If you never grabbed the Artist’s Edition in 2013, now’s your chance to get a lower-priced, smaller paperback version. The original Death of Gwen Stacy art alone certainly lives up to the $39.99 price tag.

Kamandi by Jack Kirby Vol. 1, DC. You may prefer the Fourth World but I’ll take Kamandi any day. Yet another collection but that’s cool – this should always be available in book form.

Captain America Epic Collection: Hero or Hoax (New Printing), Marvel. Early ’70s Cap and Falcon. Sells itself, doesn’t it?

Harley Quinn #19, DC. Another fun Harley Quinn variant. Ryan Sook takes on Detective Comics #38.

Uncanny X-Men Trading Cards Complete Series HC, Abrams ComicArts. I got an advance look at this a couple weeks back at San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s really well put together. You ’90s Jim Lee X-Men kids out there will love it. (Click here for a SNEAK PEEK.)

Fourth World by Jack Kirby Box Set, DC. This is a good price ($120) for so many pages of unfettered Kirby creative genius.

Captain America Epic Collection: Sturm und Drang, Marvel. Nothing here could be considered classics of the genre, but there’s nothing wrong with some fun, entertaining early ’80s Captain America stories. Back when the Red Skull showed up so often it felt like he lived next door to Steve Rogers.

Marvel Masterworks Daredevil, Vol. 16, Marvel. The only reason anyone really cares about Daredevil to this day are the stories in this volume by Frank Miller. Full stop.
