Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #1, DC Comics. Mark Waid writing a Superman title is always a must-buy.
—
Star Trek Classics: Mirror Universe Saga, IDW. For you Trek Mirror Universe fans, check out this collection of DC’s movie-era Mirror tales, collected for the first time in three decades!
Dan adds: Love that J.K. Woodward cover!

Fantastic Four by Jonathan Hickman Omnibus, Vol. 1, Marvel. Writer Jonathan Hickman was the perfect fit for Fantastic Four in a way he wasn’t on either Avengers or X-Men, in my humble opinion. An excellent run.

Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Batman: The Penguin, DC. A re-release of the 2018 trade collection starring the Master of Fowl Play, from the Golden Age to the Modern Age. Because, y’know, The Batman.

I’ll be giving this new “World’s Finest” miniseries a shot, mostly because I love the Superman character. 😉

I don’t look forward to a lot of modern super hero comics, but I’m really excited for the new World’s Finest. Mark Waid can do no wrong with the classic characters, IMHO. Art looks great too!

I’d love a classic take on the World’s Finest but at $3.99 a comic, I’ll wait for the trades.
