Scott and Dan pick the comics they’re most looking forward to…
Dan Greenfield, editor, 13th Dimension
Superman ’78 #6, DC. The finale to the real Superman III, by Robert Venditti, Wilfredo Torres and Jordie Bellaire. This has been right on the money and I look forward to reading the whole series again in one sitting.
—
All-Star Superman: The Deluxe Edition, DC. A new hardcover printing of one of the greatest Superman stories of all time. If you’ve never taken the splash, here’s another chance. Brilliance from Morrison, Quitely and Grant.
—
Archie Milestones: Jumbo Comics Digest — Best of the 1960s, Archie. A big, fat collection from the Silver Age. Far out!

Scott Tipton, contributor-at-large, 13th Dimension
Crisis on Multiple Earths Book 2: Crisis Crossed. Really happy that DC is keeping all of these Justice League/Justice Society crossover stories in print and available to new readers.
—
Daredevil Epic Collection: Going Out West, Marvel. This was a weird time for the Daredevil series, where Matt Murdock and his new girlfriend Black Widow pack up and move out to San Francisco, of all places. Worth a look just out of curiosity.
—
Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads, Marvel. A new series set during Spidey’s first black costume era, and crossing over into Bill Mantlo’s Hulk run? How did I miss this? Will definitely pick it up in trade. (By Peter David and Greg Land.)

That JLA covers is one of my favorites. Not sure why they had it re-imaged. It’s not different enough (say if Alex Ross had done it) to not be off. I might need to get the Archie’s ‘60s volume….I hope it’s a hardcover.
