A Radical Shift of Gravity, IDW Publishing/Top Shelf. A beautiful and haunting science fiction parable about what happens to the world when one day gravity just starts to go away, and what happens to one family as they try to react to it. Written by Nick Tapalansky and illustrated by Kate Glasheen. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Four Epic Collection: The Name Is Doom, Marvel. Over 20 issues of classic Lee/Kirby greatness, reproduced in full color! (I stress that because the only time I’ve ever had a chance to read these has been in the smudgy B&W Essential reprints of the 1990s.)

Amazing Adult Fantasy Omnibus, Marvel. If you’ve never read the crazy monster comics of the early ’60s produced by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko, you owe it to yourself to check these out. Larger than life and goofy as hell, I love ’em.
