SNEAK PEEK: But I thought Bruce Wayne doesn’t drink…
I’m not even going to pretend: This cracks me up.
DC is planning a book of cocktail recipes inspired by the Dark Knight’s, well, dark nights, I guess.
Seriously, check out the official description of DC Comics: Batman — The Official Gotham City Cocktail Book, according to an Amazon listing, along with placeholder art:

A few thoughts:
— OK, it’s clever. I’ll admit that. And it certainly plays into DC’s desire to be something of a lifestyle brand. Still, it’s … weird.
— Let me guess: The Boy Wonder is ginger ale with grenadine and a maraschino cherry.
— I bet you drinking the Two-Face will make you see double. (I could go on and on…)
— At least it’s not Iron Man.
— The 144-page hardcover from Insight Editions lists for $24.99. It’s due April 13, 2021. No author is named.
— Standard caveat: This has not been solicited by DC yet, so nothing is official until it’s official. Even then, things can change. That said, I’m not even sure this will go through the normal solicitation route — it may only be in the bookseller market. Just keep coming to 13th Dimension for updates.

Hope they fix the missing return in Poison Ivy’s recipe.

They probably will if they fix the recipe. The one on the sample page is just a mojito. Nothing in the recipe suggests roses or would even add a pink or red color to the beverage. I suspect that everything released is extremely preliminary.

Bottoms up!
